What are Phoneme Frames good for?
The A4 Phoneme Frame Boards allow children to segment words and sounds in order to build their word recognition and reading stamina. They allow identification of a variety of phonemes including digraphs (such as ‘ch’, ‘ck’ and ‘sh’) and trigraphs (igh and air) so that children can also develop key spelling skills by breaking the words into their individual sounds.
